National Law Journal Covers Emergent's Sanctions Motion Against CrossFit

Two weeks ago, Emergent filed a motion for Rule 11 sanctions against CrossFit, Inc. and its counsel for pursuing frivolous claims against our clients, Jeff and Mikki Martin, who founded CrossFit Kids -- a program for teaching modified CrossFit techniques to youth -- under an oral license from the company beginning in late 2004.  The Martins are pursuing counterclaims against CrossFit and its founder, Greg Glassman, for deceiving the Martins into giving up control of the program they developed, and are seeking $18 million in damages.

This afternoon, the National Law Journal highlighted the Martins' motion in its daily coverage, and quoted Emergent founding partner Christopher Wimmer.
